DESCRIPTION:The Southeastern Community College Foundation is hosting the 2nd President’s Ball on Saturday\, April 29\, 2023\, at 7 p.m. \nThe fundraiser will be one of the grandest nights of the year for the Rams filled with delicious food\, live music from the Band of Oz\, dancing\, and a silent auction. The President’s Ball will raise funds to support the SCC Nursing program. \nThe President’s Ball will take place at The Farm at Union Valley. \nSponsorship opportunities are available. SUMMARY:Spring Has Sprung Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:The third annual Spring Has Sprung Festival will be held Saturday\, April 22\, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.\, in the grassy lot across from the Tabor City Fire Department. The lot is between 4th and 5th streets. There will be a parade at 11 a.m. and a car show on 5th Street. Star Farm will be in the KidZone with a petting park\, inflatables and trackless train. Ray Hardee\, a master magician who has been the in-house magician for Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Columbia\, S.C.\, will be performing at the festival. The festival will also host a cruise-in. Cars\, trucks\, motorcycles and tractors are welcome. Judging will be by people’s Choice. To participate as a vendor or to enter the cruise-in or parade call Cynthia Nelson at 910-377-3012.
