Columbus County Juneteenth Festival 2023

This holiday, celebrating the emancipation of slaves is considered the “longest-running African-American holiday” and has been called “America’s second Independence Day.” For Columbus County, the Juneteenth Planning Committee is gearing up for it’s 4th year of celebrating the freedom, resilience and cultural contributions of African Americans.
